Lights, Camera, Homecoming Parade!

Please fill out this form with the needed information to register your group for the OHS 2025 Homecoming Parade taking place on Saturday, September 13.

Please have your information submitted on this form by Monday, September 8th.

Day of Parade:

When arriving, please drive up Union Street and turn onto 2nd Street next to the big stairs (all vehicles should be facing west.) First-come, first-served, we will stage floats on both sides of 2nd Street parallel to the high school. Overflow will stage in the student parking lot west of the new gym on Center Street.
Please check in with a Student Council member at the table at the bottom of the front stairs. You can start lining up at 8:30 am. The parade will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m.
End of parade at Knights of Columbus 123 3rd St. Ottumwa, IA please set up a drop-off location with your group-ideally 2nd or 4th street, so you are not stopping on 3rd street to unload. This will allow us to keep a good pace through the parade route.
Elementaries: parents will need to drop students off on 4th Street (alley between First Lutheran Church and the high school). Please have a staff member who is with the float and at least one staff member available to meet students as they are being dropped off to walk them to the float. All elementary floats will be staged in this alley leading towards 2nd Street. Pick-up location for elementary students will be the courthouse parking lot. Please have drivers continue to the courthouse and have parents meet there for pick up.
